The set that was done on July 19, 2013 is kind of a mixed bag for me. About exactly half of them I am incredibly happy with and the other half don't entirely work for me. I dunno. It happens like that sometimes.
I used a portion of the colors that I had still laying out from the set done earlier and in that sense they look like they are related to the July 18, 2013 set.
I have learned a lot from making art over the years and one thing for sure is that just because I love a piece doesn't mean everyone else will. And just because I'm not entirely won over by some of the work doesn't mean that others will feel the same way. Whatever. I don't know why I feel the need to make excuses for any of my work. It's ridiculous.
